Your heartbeat heals me

"I'm going home... back to the place where I belong, and where your love has always been enough for me. I'm not running from (**AFGHANISTAN!!**). No, I think you've got me all wrong. I don't regret this life I chose for me. But these places and these faces are getting old. So, I'm going home."

I'm SO proud of him. He's ready to come home, after 8 and a half months of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion, but he's the bravest person I've ever met. He understands that duty calls, and he makes the best of it. I don't feel it possible to find a more admirable man in this whole world. Only 3 and a half more months, and we're back in New York... TOGETHER!!! :)

I have come to a realization of which I've shared with a few people. I truly feel God was watching over me this year by giving me the group of students that He did. I've always had good groups, but this year is different. They are entirely unique. They bend over backwards to be good kids, and they've been just what I needed to get through this deployment/the lonely beginning of the pregnancy. I just hope I've helped them even half as much as they have me. I am blessed!

All is well with baby! I'm 12 weeks, 5 days today. I had my second appointment, and it took forever to find the little stinkers heartbeat because he kept jumping around all over the place! He is definitely his father's child. And no, I don't know if "he's" a "he". It's just what came out of my mind, automatically. A sign, perhaps?
